Kan. Admin. Regs. § 36-16-4 - Notice of appeal

Any person aggrieved by a determination as to eligibility, under K.S.A. 58-3501 through 58-3506 or these regulations, for a relocation assistance payment, or the amount of such payment, shall file a written notice of appeal with the secretary of transportation, or the secretary's designee. The written notice shall be filed within 60 days after having been advised of the payment, or of the determination as to eligibility for a payment, of which the aggrieved person complains. Any notice in writing received by the secretary or the secretary's designee, in a form as to indicate request for review or reconsideration of a determination for relocation assistance payments or eligibility, shall be considered a valid notice of appeal.
