Kan. Admin. Regs. § 40-7-7 - Agents; resident procedure for obtaining company certification

(a) The company certification shall be completed to show the company name, the name and address of the agent to be certified, the effective date, and the address of the office submitting the certification.
(b) Company certification shall be made only by an authorized representative of the insurance company or, on and after May 1, 1989, by an authorized representative of a corporation, association, partnership, proprietorship, or other legal entity holding a direct agency appointment from an insurance company.
(c) For purposes of company certification, a licensed director, employee, or nonresident officer of a resident agency shall be deemed to be a resident agent.
