Kan. Admin. Regs. § 51-3-4 - Setting aside final receipt and release of liability

To commence a proceeding to set aside a final receipt and release of liability, the party requesting the proceeding shall file with the director an application containing all necessary facts, together with an application for hearing, in the same manner as the procedure required for a claim to determine compensation.

The test to determine if the final receipt and release of liability should be set aside shall be whether it provides compensation for the injuries sustained in the accident or the disability from occupational disease for which the claim was made.
