Kan. Admin. Regs. § 7-43-12 - Renewal of notary public commission
(a) Any notary public commission may be
renewed in the manner and on the form used to file an initial application for a
notary commission, along with payment of the prescribed fees.
(b) Any application for renewal of a notary
public commission may be submitted to the secretary no sooner than 90 days
before the expiration of the notary public's commission. Upon the receipt of a
completed application and approval by the secretary, a notary commission shall
be issued to the applicant.
(c)
After the secretary approves the notary public commission renewal, if the
notary public intends to continue performing notarial acts on electronic
records or for remotely located individuals, the notary public shall submit a
notification and the fee pursuant to
K.A.R.
7-43-11.
