Kan. Admin. Regs. § 80-5-16 - Retirement life certain options; designation of beneficiary

In the event of the death of a retired member who has selected one of the life certain retirement options (life annuity with 5, 10, or 15 years certain), and in the further event of the death of the designated beneficiary after the death of the retirant but before the 5-, 10-, or 15-year certain period has elapsed, the balance of the monthly benefit payments due under this option shall be paid to the person designated by the beneficiary, otherwise to the beneficiary's estate.
