Kan. Admin. Regs. § 9-10-1 - Requirement for sale

(a) The consignor, at the time of unloading of livestock, shall indicate to the public livestock market operator, or his representative in charge at the unloading dock, any and all known disease conditions, injuries or physical defects and the information shall be recorded on the drive-in ticket.
(b) Brucellosis reactor animals may be sold at a public livestock market, for slaughter only, and other animals approved by the veterinary inspector, may be permitted to sell within limitations otherwise authorized.
(c) Consigned livestock delivered at a public livestock market shall be inspected by the authorized veterinary inspector, and the livestock shall be tested, and shall be otherwise treated, as required by law and regulations.
