02-331 C.M.R. ch. 6, § A-1 - Pathways to Licensure
Applicants may qualify for licensure as a practitioner of funeral service in either of two ways:
1. Pathway 1: Initial Licensure
A. Completing the education requirement
contained in Chapter 3 of the board's rules;
B. Completing a practice traineeship or its
equivalent as described in Chapter 5 of the board's rules; and
C. Achieving passing scores on the National
Board Examination, State Law and Rule Examination, and Practical Examination as
described in Section 2 of this chapter.
OR
2. Pathway 2: Licensure in Another State
A. Licensure in another state, as described
in Section 3(1) of this chapter; and
B. Achieving a passing score on the State Law
and Rule Examination, as described in Section 3(2) of this chapter.
