06-096 C.M.R. ch. 100, § 102 - North American Industry Classification (NAICS)
"North American Industry Classification (NAICS)", which replaces the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) and is available from the U. S. Census Bureau, means a system for classifying businesses by type of economic activity. Establishments that use the same or similar processes to produce goods or services are grouped together.
