06- 096 C.M.R. ch. 100, § 106 - Open burning

"Open burning" means the burning of any type of combustible material in the open ambient air without being completely enclosed and where the products of combustion are emitted directly into the ambient air without passing through a stack, chimney or duct or other device or structure or as permitted by a permit from a town forest fire warden or forest ranger issued under 12 M. R. S. §9324(5).
