12-150 C.M.R. ch. 15, § 21 - INSURANCE*
1. In order to safeguard the interest of the
facility manager and the public, liability insurance is required for all
locations. Minimum coverage recommended is coverage of personal injury on the
premises, product liability and medical payment as a result of an accident
occurring to members of the public on premises. Minimum limits shall be
pursuant to the state regulations. No other liability insurance shall be
mandated to the manager unless required by law.
2. It shall be the duty of the facility
manager to report in writing as soon as practicable, to insurer and to SLA the
occurrence of any accident or if a claim or suit is brought against the
manager.
