14-118 C.M.R. ch. 5, § 10 - Medical Director

10.1 The Medical Director shall be responsible for the following duties, including but not limited to:
10.1.1 develop or approve medical assessment forms;
10.1.2 review and sign off on medical portions of client records, when requested;
10.1.3 develop and supervise policies regarding medications;
10.1.4 review and approve the program's policies and procedures for screening for infectious diseases, including HIV, tuberculosis and Hepatitis B and C.
10.2 The Medical Director must demonstrate training, competency, experience, and/or access to psychiatric consultation commensurate with the volume and characteristics of the COD population routinely served by the program.
