SUMMARY: This chapter pertains to the establishment of a Breeders Stakes program to encourage and develop a Maine breed of Standardbred horse spursuant to 8 MRSA §281. If no exception is provided in this chapter, the general body of harness racing rules and regulations shall apply to the Sire Stakes program and Sire Stakes races.
