Md. Code Regs. 08.03.09.08 - Raptor Propagation Permits

A joint Federal-State raptor propagation permit is required before any person may take, possess, transport, sell, purchase, barter, or transfer any raptor, raptor egg, or raptor semen for propagation purposes. These activities are subject to all definitions, application procedures, and requirements as found in 16 U.S.C. §§ 703- 711, Code of Federal Regulations, Title 50, Part 21, Subpart A, § 21.3, and Subpart C, § 21.30, and all other applicable federal regulations.

Regulations .08 were previously codified as under COMAR 08.03.01 Wildlife Conservation. In addition, Regulation .01I_K was previously codified as Regulation .20A_C under COMAR 08.03.01 and Regulation .02D was previously codified as Regulation .19 under COMAR 08.03.01. This recodification was effective June 3, 1985 (12:11 Md. R. 1047)
