Md. Code Regs. 09.10.02.54 - Payments to Maryland Standardbred Race Fund

A. For each harness track meet, any moneys allocated to the Maryland Standardbred Race Fund and required to be paid to the Maryland Racing Commission by the licensee, will be paid to the Commission within 5 days after the close of the meet, or the outstanding balance will after that bear interest at the prime rate, as presently published in the Wall Street Journal under Money Rates for the publication date of the 5th day, or the immediately preceding publication date if the 5th day is not a publication date, on a per diem basis until available funds are paid the Commission for the outstanding amount due, including interest.
B. In this chapter, "meet" means a specified period of consecutive days when an association is licensed by the Commission to conduct racing.
