Md. Code Regs. 09.26.02.01 - Appointment of Pilot-in-Training

A. If the Board determines that it is necessary for the protection of the commercial interest of the State, the Board may appoint any number of qualified applicants to be pilots-in-training.
B. In evaluating the commercial interest of the State, the Board may consider the State's interest in the availability of efficient, safe, and reliable pilotage services.
