A. There
shall be a combined orientation and continuing education program at least every
2 months for all personnel. Documentation shall be available to include date,
time, topic discussed, speaker, and members present. A coordinated training
program with a local hospital is encouraged.
B. There shall be health care orientation and
training for correctional officers assigned to medical facilities. Assignments
and activities of correctional officers in medical areas shall be
established.
