Md. Code Regs. 10.15.03.01 - Scope
This chapter:
A.
Governs food service facilities in Maryland;
B. Along with COMAR 10.15.04, 15.04.01, and
15.11.11, establishes the standards for the control of Salmonella Enteritidis
in shell eggs and egg-producing chickens as part of a program jointly
administered by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the
Maryland Department of Agriculture; and
C. Is not intended to govern the food service
operations in a child care center as defined in Family Law Article,
§5-570, Annotated Code of Maryland, or a family day care home as defined
in Family Law Article, §
5-501, Annotated Code of
Maryland, unless the food service operation is conducted in conjunction with
another institution that is governed by this chapter.
