Md. Code Regs. 26.11.06.01 - Definitions
A. In this chapter,
the following terms have the meanings indicated.
B. Terms Defined.
(1) "Installation", for the purpose of
Regulation .06 of this chapter, means an installation as defined in COMAR
26.11.01.01 a that can operate
independently and that causes VOC emissions to the atmosphere. If equipment at
a premises does not operate independently but operates as part of a process
line, the process line is considered to be the installation.
(2) "Process line" means a combination of
equipment that operates as a unit to perform a specific function, which either
generates VOC or to which VOC is added, and which discharges VOC to the
atmosphere through one or more discharge points.
