105 CMR 470.100 - Beds
All cells constructed after the effective date of 105 CMR 470.000 shall have for each detainee, a raised platform or bed, which is at least 12 inches off the floor. The bed or platform shall have a minimum dimension of 31 x 72 inches. Said bed or platform shall be securely anchored to the floor and/or wall, and shall be of such design and condition so as to minimize the opportunity for accidental injury or suicide.
