105 CMR 470.409 - Security Devices

Each lockup shall, in accordance with Massachusetts law (M.G.L. c. 40, ยง 36B), have installed within each cell block an electronic security device which will record the times of cell checks by police officers or other lockup personnel. Such device shall be positioned so that a cell check cannot be recorded until the police officer or other personnel has walked past each occupied cell.
