950 CMR 10.10 - Settlement of Proceeding
At any time after the commencement of an investigation by the Division, the Division and the respondent or party(ies) subject to investigation may agree to settle the investigation or proceeding. The settlement must be approved by the Director of the Division who may, in his discretion, approve the settlement so long as he finds it is fair, reasonable and in the public interest. The settlement may be entered as a Final Order under M.G.L. c. 110A ยงยง 412, 204, 304, 407A. Violations of such a Final Order is subject to criminal and civil penalties as provided by law.
