Mich. Admin. Code R. 299.4204 - Certified health department; performance requirements; solid waste management planning
Rule 204. A certified health department shall do all of the following:
(a) Provide an initial
review of solid waste management plans and required updated plans developed for
the county of jurisdiction. Findings and recommendations shall be provided to
the department and the designated planning agency.
(b) Maintain a copy of the county's current
solid waste management plan for public review upon request.
(c) During the preparation or update of a
solid waste management plan, provide advice and consultation upon request to
all of the following:
(i) The planning
committee.
(ii) The designated
planning agency.
(iii)
Municipalities.
(iv) The
county.
(v) The private
sector.
(vi) Appropriate
organizations.
