Mich. Admin. Code R. 299.9810 - Used oil generators; requirements
Rule 810.
(1) The
requirements of this rule apply to a used oil generator, unless otherwise
specified in subrule (2).
(2) The
requirements of this rule do not apply to the following:
(a) A household do-it-yourselfer used oil
generator.
(b) A farmer who
generates, in a calendar year, an average of 25 gallons per month or less of
used oil from vehicles or machinery used on the farm.
(3) A used oil generator shall comply with
the provisions of 40 C.F.R. §§279.22, 279.23, and 279.24, except
§279.22(a).
(4) A used oil
generator shall not store used oil in units other than containers or
tanks.
(5) The provisions of 40
C.F.R. §§279.22, 279.23, and 279.24, except §279.22(a), are
adopted by reference in R 299.11003. For the purposes of the adoption, the word
"director" shall replace the words "regional administrator."
