Mich. Admin. Code R. 325.45151 - Emergency response plan
Rule 151.
(1) An
applicant or licensee shall have a written emergency response plan. The plan
must be based on the risk assessment.
(2) The emergency response plan must address
capacities and capabilities critical for a response to and recovery from the
types of emergencies likely to impact the health facility or agency that could
result in 1 of the following:
(a) Equipment
and power failures.
(b)
Interruptions in communications that could include cyber-attacks.
(c) Loss of all or a portion of a physical
facility.
(d) Extraordinary
staffing shortages where the health facility or agency continues to
operate.
(e) Interruptions in the
normal supply of essentials such as food and water, medications, or medical
supplies including medical gases where the health facility or agency continues
to operate.
(3) The
licensee shall review, update, and approve the emergency response plan
annually.
(4) The emergency response
plan must be available to the department upon request.
