Mich. Admin. Code R. 400.3402 - Definitions
Rule 2.
As used in these rules:
(a) "Adverse action" means any of the
following:
(i) A suspension or termination of
provider participation in the medical assistance program.
(ii) A denial of an applicants request for
participation in the medical assistance program.
(iii) The reduction, suspension, or
adjustments of provider payments.
(iv) Retroactive adjustments following the
audit or review and determination of the daily reimbursement rates for
institutional providers.
(b) "Applicant" means an individual, firm,
corporation, association, agency, institution, or other legal entity that has
applied to participate in the medical assistance program as a
provider.
