Mich. Admin. Code R. 400.4605 - Plan review
Rule 605.
(1)
Plans and specifications shall be submitted to the bureau of fire services for
review and approval prior to any remodeling in a residential group home or the
construction or conversion of a residential group home.
(2) The plans shall comply with all of the
following provisions:
(a) Show layout, room
arrangements, construction materials to be used, and the location size, and
type of fixed equipment.
(b) For
additions, show those portions, including existing exits, types of
construction, and room occupancies, which may be affected by the
addition.
(3) The plans
shall be approved in writing by the bureau of fire services before construction
begins.
(4) The plans for
residential group homes for not more than 6 residents do not require the seal
of a registered architect or engineer.
