Rule 4204.
(1)
"Forging press" means a mechanically or hydraulically operated press using
closed or flat dies.
(2) "Forging
rolls (reducing rolls)" means rolls used as equipment for forging or swaging
operations. Forging rolls are required essentially for reducing short, thick
stock sections into long, slender sections and to perform or reduce
cross-sectional areas of billets before the finished forging
operation.
(3) "Guide bolt" means a
bolt which passes through the hammer columns and secures the ram guides in the
pocket.
