Rule 2101.
This standard pertains to the construction and use of guardrails, stairways, ramps, and runways for the protection of employees during construction operations. It also applies to all stairways that are used in the construction, alteration, repair, including painting and decorating, and demolition of workplaces and when stairways are required to be provided.
