Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.7001 - Scope
Rule 1. These rules establish administrative and operational procedures for implementation of the act and shall be known as the Michigan elevator rules. The rules establish, for protection of the general public, minimum safety requirements for inspection, construction, installation, alteration, maintenance, repair, and operation of elevators.
