Mich. Admin. Code R. 408.7086 - Supports and foundations
Rule 86.
(1)
Machines, machinery, and sheaves shall be supported and maintained in place so
as to prevent any part from becoming loose or displaced.
(2) Supporting beams shall be of steel. Beams
are not required under machines, sheaves and machinery, or control equipment
which are supported on floors provided that the floors are designed and
installed to support the load imposed on the floor.
