Mich. Admin. Code R. 436.1145 - Watercraft license; minimum qualifications
Rule 45. An applicant for a watercraft license shall meet all of the following minimum qualifications before being granted a license:
(a) The watercraft shall have a current
certificate of inspection issued by either the state waterways commission or
the United States coast guard under title 46 of the United States
Code.
(b) The watercraft carries
paying passengers on regularly scheduled routes between predetermined
geographical points.
(c) The
license shall only be used to service paying passengers on regularly scheduled
routes between predetermined geographical points.
