Minn. R. 8400.4010 - SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT DUTIES
In accordance with Minnesota Statutes, sections 103F.401 to 103F.455, districts shall:
A. provide assistance to local
governments in determining whether excessive soil loss is occurring;
B. provide assistance to the land occupiers
in developing a conservation plan and time schedule suggesting conservation
practices and a time schedule for their application;
C. make available to land occupiers state
cost-share funds as provided by parts
8400.4045 and
8400.4060;
D. provide assistance to local governments in
the development, review, monitoring, and enforcement of local soil loss limits
ordinances, conservation plans, and time schedules, and sedimentation control
plans and time schedules; and
E.
provide assistance to the commissioner in the development and review of
additional adequate technical information.
