PURPOSE: This rule prescribes the form which
shall be used when a vehicle is sold for junk, salvage, or for rebuilding and
not inspected under the motor vehicle inspection regulations. This is a
requirement of section
307.380,
RSMo.
(1) When a
vehicle is sold for junk, salvage, or for rebuilding, the purchaser must give
to the seller an affidavit signed before a notary public stating that the
vehicle is being purchased for that purpose. A copy of the affidavit will be
given to the buyer. The affidavit shall be written in the prescribed manner and
shall contain the following information:
