Mont. Admin. R. 2.59.113 - INVESTMENTS BY BANKS TO PROMOTE THE PUBLIC WELFARE
(1) The department incorporates by reference
the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency Code of Federal Regulations (12
CFR Part 24.1 through 24.7, 1996 edition) that implement
12 USC
24, which authorizes national banks to make
investments designed primarily to promote the public welfare, including the
welfare of low and moderate income areas or individuals, such as providing
housing, services or jobs.
(2) A
copy of 12 CFR Part 24.1 through 24.7 may be obtained from the Division of
Banking and Financial Institutions of the Department of Administration, 301
South Park, Suite 316, P.O. Box 200546, Helena, MT 59620-0546.
