Mont. Admin. r. 10.57.411 - CLASS 1 PROFESSIONAL TEACHER'S LICENSE
(1) A Class 1
professional teacher's license shall be valid for a period of five
years.
(2) To obtain a Class 1
professional teacher's license an applicant must submit verification of all the
following:
(a) eligibility for the Class 2
standard teacher's license as set forth in ARM
10.57.410;
(b) completion of "An Introduction to Indian
Education for All in Montana"; and
(c) a master's degree in education or an
endorsable teaching area(s) from an institutionally accredited college or
university or certification by the National Board for Professional Teaching
Standards.
(3) A Class 1
professional teacher's license shall be renewable pursuant to the requirements
of ARM 10.57.215.
(4) A lapsed Class 1 professional teacher's
license may be reinstated by earning 60 professional development units as
defined in ARM
10.57.215(4)
during the five-year period preceding the date of application for the new
license.
