Nev. Admin. Code § 293.Sec. 5.5 - NEW
If a county clerk elects to charge and collect an additional fee for filing and recording a declaration of candidacy for a public office pursuant to NRS 19.013, the county clerk shall:
1. Charge the additional fee for all public
offices for which a declaration of candidacy is filed with the county
clerk.
2. Notify the Secretary of
State using electronic mail or mail not later than 15 days before the start of
the candidate filing period in an election year. The written notification must
include, without limitation:
(a) That the
additional fee is being charged and collected;
(b) The amount of the additional fee;
and
(c) The total filing fee to be
collected for each public office.
