Nev. Admin. Code § 385B.206 - Application for associate membership
1. Any high school
in this State may apply to the Board for associate membership in the
Association. The application must be submitted:
(a) On a form approved by the Association;
and
(b) Not later than:
(1) July 1 of the year in which the school
applies for associate membership, if the application is the initial application
submitted by the school; or
(2)
November 1 of the year immediately preceding the year in which the school
applies for associate membership, if the application is submitted by a current
member school.
2. In addition to the provisions of
subsection 1, an applicant for associate membership in the Association must
submit, together with the application, a letter setting forth the reasons for
submitting the application which is signed by:
(a) If the applicant is a public school:
(1) The principal of the school;
(2) The superintendent of schools of the
school district in which the school is located; and
(3) The board of trustees of that school
district; or
(b) If the
applicant is a private school:
(1) The
principal or other person in charge of the school;
(2) The administrative head of the school;
and
(3) The governing body of the
school.
