Nev. Admin. Code § 385B.382 - Treatment of game not completed because of unforeseeable and unavoidable cause
1. If a scheduled
game is not completed because of weather or a natural disaster, or any other
unforeseeable and unavoidable cause, a school participating in the game shall
not count the game as part of the season for the sanctioned sport for which the
game is conducted unless each school participating in the game agrees to count
the game as part of that season. If such an agreement is entered into, the game
may be replayed or continued in accordance with the agreement beginning from
the place and time at which the game was interrupted.
2. As used in this section, "game" means any
competition for a sanctioned sport that is conducted between two teams if:
(a) Admission is charged for the
competition;
(b) A paid sports
official is used for the competition;
(c) The competition is conducted during
periods that are timed and of regular length; or
(d) A record of the competition and the
scores for the competition are publicized.
