Nev. Admin. Code § 385B.Sec. 4 - NEW

1. Each pupil who participates in a sanctioned sport shall:
(a) During the season in which the pupil participates in the sanctioned sport, be enrolled in at least four classes, the successful completion of which will collectively provide at least two units of credit for a full semester or its equivalent; and
(b) Comply with any attendance requirements of the school or school district.
2. With respect to the participation of a pupil in an event sanctioned by the Association that is scheduled to occur outside of a school year, a pupil may satisfy the requirements of subsection 1 by:
(a) If the pupil has had the opportunity to register for classes for the next school year, registering for the number of classes specified in paragraph (a) of subsection 1.
(b) If the pupil has not had the opportunity to register for classes for the next school year, meeting the requirements of subsection 1 in the immediately preceding grading period.
