Nev. Admin. Code § 385B.Sec. 6 - NEW
1. Except as otherwise provided in this
section and NAC
385B.758,
a pupil who, in any grading period, fails to meet any requirement set forth in
NAC
385B.750
to
385B.770,
inclusive, and sections 3 to 8, inclusive becomes immediately ineligible to
participate in a sanctioned sport for the duration of the grading period.
2. A pupil who is ineligible
pursuant to subsection 1 may become eligible before the conclusion of the
grading period if it is determined at an interim progress review conducted
pursuant to section 7 during the grading period that the pupil meets the
requirements set forth in NAC
385B.750
to
385B.770,
inclusive, and sections 3 to 8, inclusive of this regulation.
3. If it is determined at an interim progress
review conducted pursuant to section 7 that a pupil who has become eligible
pursuant to subsection 2 has failed to meet any requirement set forth in NAC
385B.750
to
385B.770,
inclusive, and sections 3 to 8, inclusive, the pupil becomes immediately
ineligible to participate in a sanctioned sport until:
(a) It is determined at a subsequent interim
progress review that the pupil meets the requirements set forth in NAC
385B.750
to
385B.770,
inclusive, and sections 3 to 8, inclusive of this regulation; or
(b) Grades are posted for the grading period,
whichever occurs first.
