Nev. Admin. Code § 444.8386 - Capping fill trench: Inspections. ( NRS 439.200 , 444
1. An engineer shall inspect the construction
of a capping fill:
(a) Upon the completion of
the installation of the distribution lines in the absorption
trenches.
(b) When the fill area
has been scarified. The engineer shall inspect the fill and native soils to
ensure that they are not excessively moist and are of similar
texture.
(c) When the capping fill
has been placed:
(1) To ensure that there is
an adequate interface of the fill and soils at the surface; and
(2) To verify the dimensions of the capping
fill.
2. The
engineer shall, within 30 days after the date on which the construction of the
system is completed, submit a letter to the health authority stating the system
was constructed in accordance with the approved plans.
