Nev. Admin. Code § 459.705 - X-ray systems: Training requirements for operators
1. A
person who operates an X-ray system for X-ray industrial radiography must:
(a) Be trained in the:
(1) Normal operating procedures for each
X-ray system he or she operates; and
(2) Emergency procedures related to radiation
safety for each facility at which he or she operates; and
(b) Receive the information, instruction or
advice set forth in subsection 1 of NAC 459.784.
2. A registrant engaged in X-ray industrial
radiography shall make a record of all such training and maintain such records
for not less than 3 years after the termination of the employee.
3. As used in this section, "normal operating
procedures" has the meaning ascribed to it in NAC 459.650.
