Nev. Admin. Code § 467.0045 - Member or employee of Commission or other person administering or enforcing chapter prohibited from financial interest in contest, exhibition or unarmed combatant; exception
1. Except as
otherwise provided in this section, a member or employee of the Commission, or
any person who administers or enforces the provisions of this chapter or
chapter 467 of NRS, may not be a member, shareholder, partner, director or
officer of, contract with, receive any compensation from or have a financial
interest in any person who sanctions, arranges or promotes a contest or
exhibition, or have a financial interest in any unarmed combatant.
2. The provisions of subsection 1 do not
prohibit a member or employee of the Commission or a ring official from
entering into a contract or receiving payment for supervising or officiating a
contest or exhibition.
3. As used
in this section, "compensation" does not include the holding of money in escrow
for the payment to another person in connection with a contest or exhibition of
professional unarmed combat.
