Nev. Admin. Code § 477.052 - "Authority having jurisdiction" defined
"Authority having jurisdiction" means:
1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection
2 or 3, the State Fire Marshal.
2.
A local government in a county whose population is 100,000 or more or which has
been converted into a consolidated municipality.
3. A local government in a county whose
population is less than 100,000 or which has not been converted into a
consolidated municipality if the local government has entered into an
interlocal agreement with the State Fire Marshal to delegate to the local
government the authority or duties of the State Fire Marshal in that
area.
