Nev. Admin. Code § 483.390 - Hearings
1. A licensee has 30 days after the effective
date of a suspension, revocation or cancellation of a license or permit, the
denial of an application or imposition of a restricted license to request a
hearing before the departmental hearing officer. If the licensee does not
request a hearing until after the 30-day period, the Department in its
discretion, may grant the request.
2. Upon request, the applicant or licensee
shall provide the hearing officer all available information which the hearing
officer deems necessary to determine the fitness of the applicant or licensee
to operate a motor vehicle safely, including the licensee's or applicant's
statement of his or her case history and any treating physician's statement as
to the diagnosis, treatment and prospect of recovery from or control of the
ailment.
