Nev. Admin. Code § 483.490 - Voluntary surrender of license: Cancellation of driving privileges; issuance of identification card
1. Driving
privileges must be cancelled when a license is voluntarily surrendered for the
following reasons:
(a) Release from liability
by a person pursuant to
NRS
483.310; or
(b) Confidential medical reasons.
2. Except as otherwise provided in
subsection 3, a person who voluntarily surrenders his or her license to the
Department for confidential medical reasons may obtain an identification card
at no charge.
3. Before obtaining
an identification card pursuant to subsection 2, a person who voluntarily
surrenders his or her driver authorization card to the Department must submit
the documentation required pursuant to NAC 483.050.
