Nev. Admin. Code § 527.330 - Comments from public
1. Before issuing a
permit, the Division, in its sole discretion, may seek comments from the public
on a proposed project that may involve the taking of a plant on the list of
fully protected species of native flora.
2. The Division may solicit written comments
or verbal comments, or both, from the public to the extent and in the manner
the Division deems practicable and expedient to assist in determining whether a
proposed project is consistent with the program authorized by
NRS 527.260
to
527.300,
inclusive.
3. The solicitation and
acceptance of public comment by the Division does not:
(a) Alter the criteria or procedure used by
the Division to determine whether or not to grant or deny an application for a
permit; or
(b) Constitute a
hearing.
