Nev. Admin. Code § 587.228 - "Foundation seed" defined
"Foundation seed" means seed which is:
1. The progeny of breeder or foundation seed
produced under control of the person who originated or sponsored the seed;
and
2. A class of certified seed
that is produced under procedures established by the Department for the purpose
of maintaining genetic purity and identity.
