Nev. Admin. Code § 587.232 - "Off-type" defined

"Off-type" means any seed or plant that is not a part of the variety because it deviates in one or more characteristics from the variety as described. The term includes:

1. A seed or plant of another variety;
2. A seed or plant not a variety;
3. A seed or plant resulting from cross-pollination by another kind or variety;
4. A seed or plant resulting from uncontrolled self-pollination during production of hybrid seed; or
5. Segregates from any of the seeds or plants listed above.
