Nev. Admin. Code § 640.640 - Programs of research
1. A licensee shall
obtain the voluntary and informed consent of a prospective participant in a
program of research before engaging in the program of research.
2. A licensee shall not penalize a person for
his or her refusal to participate in a program of research.
3. A licensee engaging in a program of
research shall:
(a) Protect a participant in
the program from any unwarranted physical or mental discomfort, distress or
harm;
(b) Treat information
obtained from a participant or learned about a participant through the program
as confidential information; and
(c) Take credit for the work the licensee is
actually doing in the program and give credit to another person for any
contribution made by that person to the program of research.
